Mike is a Physiotherapist, Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Personal Trainer. He has an extensive 16 year background in physiotherapy, personal training, exercise based rehabilitation and group training. Mike’s background as a fitness professional and physiotherapist has helped him build a wide knowledge base and experience working with a broad range of patients and clients. From elite level English soccer players to high dependency critical care patients, Mike has had the opportunity to work with these clients/patients to further develop his method’s and techniques.

Andrea completed a Physical Therapy degree in 2002 at the University of Toronto following completion of a Kinesiology degree in her home province of British Columbia. With previous experience working in acute care hospitals, occupational health settings, and community care, Andrea has focused her work in Pelvic Health since 2010. She is certified in Pelvic Physiotherapy through the American Physical Therapy Association, and is authorized to practice in this area by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.

Andrea provides skilled care for men and women looking to achieve optimal Pelvic Health and function. She is experienced in helping clients to manage a range of conditions, from stress urinary incontinence to more complex conditions including persistent pelvic pain, men’s health issues, and prenatal and postpartum rehabilitation. For some, these physical concerns can be difficult to discuss, and clients appreciate Andrea’s non-judgmental and supportive approach.

Andrea’s primary focus at PHYSELITE is to guide athletes of all levels toward high performance in sport and fitness, leisure and lifestyle activities with confidence in their ability to manage pelvic health concerns. Julian, currently an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Toronto, graduated as a Physiotherapist from the Laurea University of Applied Sciences, Helsinki, Finland in 2003. Over the next 9 years, he worked part-time as the Head Coach and Physiotherapist of Finland’s, Men’s National Cricket Team, participating in European competitions, specialized as a Musculoskeletal physiotherapy at a London teaching hospital and provided pitch-side physiotherapy cover for the Crystal Palace Football Club’s 11-15 age groups. He assisted as a coach with the Canadian Men’s and Women’s cricket teams in 2013.

Julian has had extensive experience in post-surgical rehabilitation for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) repairs, back surgeries, lower limb and shoulder surgeries. His expertise is in sport-specific rehabilitation using treatment as an opportunity to improve performance. In athletes and non-athletes alike, he effectively treats Achilles tendon and plantar-fasciitis pain as well as specializes in the treatment of adolescent athletes and running injuries.

In the 2015 Pan Am games he volunteered as a Lead Therapist, coordinating therapy at the basketball venue in conjunction with the medical teams. More recently he has been integrating therapy and training for the junior athletes of the York North Basketball Association Avengers U-19 girls, U-16 Boys and U-11 boys. He works closely with the Basic Speed & Agility Group in Aurora.

Asa is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Team USA Weightlifting Sport Performance Coach. Asa earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise and Sport Science from Brigham Young University, Hawaii, where he also served as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for four years. An expert in Olympic Weightlifting and sport performance enhancement, he has trained numerous NCAA Division I and II athletes, as well as many CFL, NFL, OHL and CIS athletes. Dr. Benjamin Wong is a Chiropractor and a Registered Massage Therapist. His interest is in teen athlete development, injury mitigation, and sport rehabilitation.

He is a Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist, and has taken additional courses in Functional Range Release, Active Release Technique, Athletic Movement Assessment, and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization, and Acupuncture.
